From Remembrance To Independence
October 30, 2025
This week, our students experienced the full emotional arc of Israel's national holidays—moving from remembrance to celebration—while deepening their connection to the land, its people, and its story.
In anticipation of Yom HaZikaron, Israel's Memorial Day, students visited the Kastel and Kiryat Anavim Military Cemetery on Monday—reflecting on Israel's history and honoring those who fell in its defense. The day concluded with a ceremony in Jerusalem commemorating Israel's fallen lone soldiers.

Tuesday evening, as the country transitioned to Yom HaAtzmaut, Israel's Independence Day, students joined thousands in celebrations at Ra'anana Park, marking the shift from remembrance to independence.
